Phil & Jackie have received two new awards:
They have won “Newport in Bloom” again!! In the restaurant category, the flowers looked wonderful this year!. The new Wedding Garden was in full bloom for all our Weddings and proved a huge hit for photo’s of the Bride & Groom and their guests, who enjoyed welcome drinks served on the lawns.
Phil along with help from Jason & Trevor kept the gardens in their award winning condition!
The only hiccup came when we had all our plants stolen at 4 am by a man in a hoodie and his dog (who was his accomplice!!!) We have since upgraded our security cameras.
The second award was for “Best Pub Restaurant of the year” for the second year running voted by the Local people of Newport. We felt very privileged to be awarded this again and happy to be recognised for the hard work of all our wonderful staff!.
